| Eileen Chang, a very important writer of Chinese 20th literary history. Her works frequently deal with the tensions between men and women in love, and are considered by some scholars to be among the best Chinese literature of the period.There are many adaptations of Eileen Chang's novels in these years. This paper is in order to finish the system of Eileen Chang's stage adaptations, the efforts made by the drama workers, and the gains and losses during the adaptation.Firstly, I will analyses the characteristics of Eileen Chang's novels. Then you can see the connection between theatre and her novel, which is good for drama workers to "Re-creation".
