The styles of Chinese classical literary compositions in rhyme always have special ties with music. There is a consensus that ci poetry of the Tang-Song Dynasty is the lyrics of Yan Yue. It's already became a common way for the majority of scholars to do research on ci poetry of the Tang-Song Dynasty from the angle of music .Yan Yue was influenced deeply by Hu Yue since the beginng of its birth. The impact on ci poetry made by Hu Yue cann't be neglected. Hu Yue with characteristics of different cultures pours fresh energy in the development of ci poetry. In this paper the author uses a combined historical and bibliographical theory, explores that Hu Yue has an influential role in the genres of ci poetry and the tones of ci poetry with the different cultures of Hu Yue as the breakthrough point in order to obtain a more objective and comprehensive understanding on the birth and development of ci poetry.
