Based on the former studies of"cha yi dian", this paper, according to the statistics and analysis of the situation of the actual usage in modern Chinese, states the characteristic of the"cha yi dian 1"as a"Verb Object"phrase, and"cha yi dian2"as a"adjective complement"phrase, and"cha yi dian3"as a adjective,"cha yi dian 4"as a adverb. The author will discuss in detail the feature of flexible distribution in the syntax, the special negation in the meaning, the asymmetry of the affirmation and negation, and the characteristic of past time domain, the selectional restriction between"cha yi dian"and"VP"in the sentence of"cha yi dian mei VP".This thesis mainly analyzes the factors and condition which influence the redundant negation of the"mei"in sentence"cha yi dian mei VP". According the situation of grammaticalization or diachronic development, the author bread through the method of single factor, and hold that it is related to not only the factors of the [-active] but also those of [+emphasized degree].The author explains the difference between the affirmative form and negative form when the"mei"is redundant. At the same time the author argues that the degree of the redundant negation of the"mei"has a close relationship with those factors. It is a continue in different situation. When the degree of redundancy of"mei"is high, the difference of the affirmative form and negative form is just a little. The degree is lower, the difference is more. The degree of redundancy is related to the factors. The author also find that there are some differences in usage rate, tendency of the function, the conditions of the redundant negation and the irredundant negation between the"cha yi dian"and"cha dian".At last the author research the grammaticalization of"cha yi dian", and make the road of development clear. Moreover, the author explains the cause of the redundant negation of the"mei"from the cognitive and diachronic view."Mei"can occur with"le"in"cha yi dian"pattern as the"mei"is a subjectivity mark. This usage is special because of"cha yi dian"pattern and the similar usage in modern Chinese.
