Master Huiyuan (334-416years)was a leader at Buddhist circles in Eastern China Dynasty, and joined great renown in Chinese Buddhist history. His thought is rich and complicated by influence of Chinese traditional culture,Indian Hinyana Buddhism and Prajna techings.Real Bhaya is consistent in Huiyuan's thought. He was benefitted from Confucianism, Taoism and Zhuanism in his early years. After becoming a monk, he learnt prajna from his Master Daoan. During the 30 years of staying at Lushan, he recruited monk Samghadeva and Buddhabhadra to translate Pitanxue and Chan sutras. He cited Nivarna is Dharma nature, is reality, is unchanged. He also cited that physical and mental can be divided and can be combined, physical body death and consciousness no death. base on this the circulation of the rebirth andMaster Kumarajiva tanslated Commentary on Mahaprajnaparamitasastra after arriving at China. He wrote an extraction of Commentary on Maha Prajna Paramitta Sutra and gave the foreword for the commentary. He mentioned that the Dharmakaya is different from kaya which is real existent and unchangeable, he tried to use the conditioned existence to paraphrase the Dharmakaya and Dharma Nature. In which, he still could not accept the idea of the emptiness nature the Venerable Master Kumarajiva cited. This is because the Chinese people would accept the foreign cultural thinking, but they would transform it to be their own in final. The reason why Venerable Master Huiyuan's Buddhist thinking was abundant and complex, because he was influenced by multiple cultural thinkings, such as the Chinese traditional culture, Indian Therevada Buddhism and Prajna studies etc.Venereable Master Huiyuan Buddhist ideology included its consistence and persistence, thus is so-called real exist. Either shifayou or conditioned exist, does belong to nirvanic real entity, however it does not belong to prajna nature of emptiness. With the Nirvana series sutra being translated in bulk, Venerable Master Huiyuan's the dharma nature(dharmakaya)real exist, physical death and consciousness no-vanished, had finally become the frontier of the Buddha nature ideology, after that the Buddha nature real exist ideology is popularized in China successfully.
