"outlook On" Research Three Questions

"Lin Lan Xiang" is an important novel at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty.The novel is an important link between the "Jin Ping Mei" and "A Dream of The Red Mansions".It has been re-discovered In the 1980s.From then on,it has been concerned by more and more scholars and some research results has been made.If we compare with the value of the novel and other novels' study,we find that the study of "Lin Lan Xiang" is still slightly weak.There are further expanded academic spaces in the study of "Linlan Xiang".In this paper,the study is based on the extensive reference and full absorption of the existed research results.There are three aspects of the study in the novel as follows.The first part of the paper is on the image of Yan Mengqing who is the heroine of the novel."Gentleman" is the core of her image.The author of the novel makes "Orchid"as the basic symbol of Yan Mengqing in order to imply that gentleman's identity is Yan Mengqing' inherent quality.The novel proves the Gentleman image of Yan Mengqing from both morals and abilities.Yan Mengqing is different from the women in most ancient Chinese novels.On the one hand,Yan Mengqing is a full moral person,her gentlemanly personality getting a complete interpretation,while the women in most novel are persons of only one respect of moral.On the other hand,the ability of Yan Mengqing is not only literature but also management while ability of women in most novel usually is only literature.Definitions of "Gentleman" imply the obvious characteristics of men.Compared with Baozhu and Yunniang which are the actress of two novels of Qing Dynasty "lanhuamengqizhuang" and "Six Chapters of a Floating Life",it is clearly found that the gentleman's image of Meng Qing of has the characteristics of the man.The second part is on the subject of novels.Both thought of the perseverance of Confucian ideal and Suiyuan are always permeated in the novel,but not contradictory. The author is dedicated to the Confucian ideal,which can be seen through the image of Tian Chunwan.Threr are two kinds of "Suiyuan" ideology in the novel.One comes from Xuan Ainiang who has Taoist thinking,the other comes form Yan Mengqing who has Confucian thinking.After failure of the Confucian ideal which is placed on Yan Mengqing,the author is in the confusion and seeks for answers."Suiyuan" can be understood as an "improvement" of the Confucian ideal of the author."Do as much as your possible and regardless of results" is also a persistent-Suiyuan.The third part is on the style of fiction.The specific image of Yan Mengqing is a tragedy figures,but on the whole novel,the spirit of tragedy vanished gradually.The core of this vanishing is reflected in the description that the author intends to downplay or even hide the contradiction between the ideal and reality.The auther gives up the "conflict" and hopes "integration".Concrete expression is from three aspects:firstly, from Yan Mengqing to Tian Chunwan,the tragic heroine for the establishment of "behind";secendly,the success of Tian Chunwan's "The Doctrine of the Mean";thirdly, the outcome of key figures in novels reflect thought to karma.With the spirit of the tragedy vanishing,"Lin Lanxiang" shows a sad atmosphere as a whole,"Se Kong"ideal and atalism are their specific performance.
