On The Symbolic Painting

Based on a symbolic trait of the origin and development in paintings to parse the symbolic language features through the examples of pictures in symbolic paintings, further understanding the symbol of practices and expanding evolution which artists use in the different geographical and different times. The paper also through the analysis of symbolic paintings to describe the symbolic trait's unique aesthetic value in the paintings.The main text of paper is to analysis the classic symbol of the works in Chinese, Russian and French, focusing on the concept of visual graphics to parse the works and combined with traditional painting to comparise. In the analysis of the paintings, its symbolic language includes the use of the traditional symbol and the well-known characteristics of a typical image in the works of literature as a symbol, and the use of the typical image or map of features in the plastic arts and also describe the symbolic language which individual artists established.Through the parsing of the works in different regions and different times, we can know, compared the French Symbolist painting, the artists of Russia and China through the tireless exploration in the painting' s symbolizes, created a number of the Outstanding works which include the characteristics of symbolic and aesthetic, they not only enriched the symbolic languages of paintings, but also made the symbolic paintings has updated the expansion and extension in the way of expression compared with that of France.
