| Han Rhymeprose stands towering among Chinese literature for its special writing skills, just like Chu Ci, Tang Poetry, Song Lyrics, Yuan Drama, Ming and Qing Dynasties Novels, and it represents the highest achievement for literature writing in Han dynasty. At present, the research on music culture of two-han period is customarily done by official historical materials on music. In my idea, though Han Rhymeprose is a kind of literature works, it also have the value of historical materials, because it is the description or artistic depiction for persons of that time describing things of that time, so it can not be ignored, and it is one of the important parts of music historical materials. Thus, Collected Rhymeprose of Han Dynasty music historical materials should be revised and researched, which can help to understand the art styles deeply in Han dynasty, such as music dancing, Bai Xi, etc, which can help to dig and organize historical materials on music and enrich the music history of Han dynasty, which will finally offer valuable reference materials for other research works on music of Han dynasty.Nowadays, the research on Han Rhymeprose is usually done from literature to literature, and emphasis is currently focused on discussing the characters of literature and art of Han Rhymeprose. There are only a few Han Rhymeprose studied from the visual angle of music history. And it is not appeared that the systemic revision and research monograph in the sense of music history for Collected Rhymeprose of Han dynasty. This paper plans to systemically organize and investigate Han Rhymeprose materials from the point of music history. Here, the method of philology and archaeology combined is used to deal with and study Han Rhymeprose materials, and the archaeological finds of Stone Relief of the Han dynasty (brick), musical images, figures and other related things found archaeologically are used to validate and compare one another. Literature and figure combined breaks that pure figure research on Han picture or pure literature research without regard to figure, and it makes Literature and figure integrate tightly each other. The music historical materials of Collected Rhymeprose of Han dynasty is discussed and analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the classification study is carried on historical materials of Collected Rhymeprose of Han dynasty, and the proof of authenticity and creditability is found for the preserved music material. Secondly, some ideas are given for dancing, Bai Xi, musical instrument in Han dynasty which is recorded in historical documents from the points of arts category, performance characteristic and instrument using. Thirdly, according to the research of historical materials, some dissertations are obtained for music existing style and character, music arts style and function, music culture in Han dynasty and so forth. |
