Research On Artistic Creation Of Han Dynasty Stone Relief In Tengzhou Area

As an important funeral painting art in Han Dynasty,stone relief is widely distributed in China.Since the 1930s.a large number of exquisite stone relief of Han Dynasty have been unearthed in Tengzhou.It lasted from Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty to the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.On the other hand,there is a Han Dynasty quarry found in Muzu Mountain,Chaihudian of Tengzhou,with a huge amount of stone exploitation.Therefore,Tengzhou is one of the important areas to study Han Dynasty stone relief.Based on the abundant stone relief materials of Han Dynasty in Tengzhou,this paper comprehensively collects the stone relief excavation materials and illustrated materials in Tengzhou area.On the basis of combing the previous research results,aiming at the shortcomings of the previous research,this paper introduces the concepts of "composition","space",and carries out the research from the plane creation,space construction and carving techniques.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance,research review,research ideas and methods.In the chapter of plane creation,this paper discusses how to organize the stone portraits,and tries to analyze the composition characteristics of Tengzhou stone portraits with Wolflin’s artistic style.The next chapter discusses the location of the stone relief in the context of tombs or ancestral halls,as well as its significance in space.In the chapter of carving techniques,this paper classifies the different carving methods of the relief stones unearthed in Tengzhou area,analyzes the tools used,and discusses the craftsman’s ingenuity through the different styles displayed by the different carving methods adopted by the craftsman.The conclusion summarizes the content of the text.
