Abstract/Summary:
The mental health of college students has brought about more concerns in the whole society. So,the study of the state in psychology of the ethnic minority college students does provide the basis in Psychology to the development of ethnic minority education in the western regions in China and increase potential force for the common development and prosperity of China's various nationalities.By means of "Symptom Check List 90",the thesis investigates the representative minority college students of Guizhou Ethnic Minority College,including Han,Tujia,Miao,Buyi and Dong. For this study,980 questionairs were sent out,and 908 were recovered.Then based on the statistical analysis of 632 effective samples through the study of Han,Tujia,Miao,Buyi and Dong,the thesis analyzes the mental health of these five kinds of ethnic minority college students,as well as the differences between them.Through the data statistic counted,it shows the followiings:1.SCL-90 sharing factors of ethnic group of college students in Guizhou Ethnic Minority College are evidently higher than the norm in China(P<0.01).and significantly lower than the norm of Chinese college students except for fear and psychosis,anxiousness(P<0.05).2.The overall condition of mental health of the ethnic minority college students is good, compared with the average in China,and the total detection rate of mental problem that reaches middle serious degree is 16.30%,15.69%for hanzu,20.41%for Miaozu,12.61%for Tujia.and 14.54%for Dong.3.There are no significant differences in each factor among different minority college students in SCL-90.By comparing every two factors,only Han and Tujia have significant difference(P<0.05).4.There are no significant differences in each factor of different minorities in SCL-90 between one-child and non-only-child,between majors.It evidently differs in psychosis when one-child and major interact(P<0.05).In addition,in the aspect of the main effect,it differs evidently in obsessive compulsory,disorder(P<0.01).social contact(P<0.01).depression(P<0.01),anxiety (P<0.05).paranoia(P<0.05)and psychosis(P<0.01)due to the impact of only-child.Combining with the above—said discussion and conclusion and with education aim and idea to minority college students in higher learnings,this thesis offers us relevant countermeasures and suggestion to how to foster and enhance college students in Guizhou Ethnic Minority College with comprehensive quality.
