The period of Kuomintang in continent dominance, 4th world military revolution spring up and develop quickly. The positive exploration and practice of development and reform in military field become the important campaign of countries over the world at that time. Kuomintang stems from the needs of self and external environment, also begins to explore and reform, found and develop own military arms for its military system. From forming of Kuomintang's Military Armed forces to retreating to Taiwan, this paper try to inspect the campaign of studying foreign troops from the angle of Kuomintang's military transformation, Conduct the special reform of Kuomintang before 1949 .The full text divides into three chapters. The first chapter introduces the background and course of studying foreign troops. The second chapter narrates the aid measures of Soviet Russia, Germany and US in military field. The third Chapter analyzes reasons and enlightenments which stem from the failure of Kuomintang's reform.As one country whose military developed slowly, it must studies developed country's advanced construction experience and development model. In this process of studying, we can't imitate stiffly. We must understand and know the external experience. Only does this, we can use them reasonably and dialectical.
