The most attention has been paid to Fang fang's new realistic style, such as Zero Degree Writing, Naturalism and the Secular Life and so on. But taking a look at originally ecological profane representation in the seemingly plain story through her novels, we can deeply feel the pervasively rigid atmosphere of desolation in her works, together with the in-depth exploration of the human nature and survival. Fang Fang's works give first place to family tragedy. the influence of tragedies in these ordinary families does not lie in the fierceness between external contradiction and struggle of bitter enemies, but lie in the universality and irreconcilation of the inherent contradictions because it is a fusion of the human weaknesses that can not be removed. The significance of getting to know it doesn't mean that we can find ways to overcome and then perfect life. Indeed facing the tragedy directly we should take the responsibility and deepen people's understanding of their own instead of finding excuses. In a thorough understanding of human nature, she expressed deep concern about life and deep exploration of life reality as well as the seemingly cruel analysis of small characters, at the same time she also implied a life of a secular mild feelings.Taking family tragedies as a starting point, this paper attempts to explore the writer's spiritual orientation and philosophical thoughts. In particular, she takes pessimistic mood as the yardstick of the real world awareness, and reflects on society, human nature, and embarrassment of the fate and helplessness on the basis of intellectual spirit of rational criticism. This paper consists of three parts: the first part focuses on theoretical exposition, with a view to clearing the history and meaning of the family ethical tragedy; the second part explains the family ethical tragedy and its deeper meaning; the rest shows her social responsibilities as an intellectual, and her persistence in the face of secular society through grasping her creative individuality.
