Graphic design is the most direct way of transmitting information by vision, and it becomes an application of the widest range of design category. In the field of traditional graphic design, the concept of space environment is often excluded. However, in contemporary exhibition design, apart from the effect of transmitting information, graphic design has also gradually taken on the function of creating space.From the perspective of graphic designers, this paper studies all aspects and different presentation skills of graphic design, which shows in exhibition design. The paper comes to the idea that the information transmitting is no longer the whole and the only content of graphic design, and it should also contains the wider function of aesthetics of space environment. This idea is also a development of the concept of "complete works of art", which brings forward by Bauhaus. On the other hand, graphic designers should also hold the concept of "environment (al)", treat the design work in a more scientific attitude and have an open mind when facing to the challenges during graphic design.
