Ningbo, Then Move Knot That The Statements Between The Verb Pre - Patient

This paper is written to discuss the preposed patient in the sentences whose predication is consisited of VR phrase (VR-predication) in Ningbo dialect.We discuss whether VR phrases with a patient after itself is common in Ningbo dialect in the first chapter and then describe the preposed patient in sentences of VR-predication in Chapter 2,so as to investigate the reason why the preposed patients are so prevailed in the sentences with VR-predication in Chapter 3.There is also a simple survey on the preposed patient in 6 dialects in Zhejiang province,helping us to see both similarities and differences of the preposed patient in subdialects of Wu dialect.The purpose of this paper is to describe whether a VR phrase can have a patient none behind its verb and the property of preposed patient in VR-predication sentences,so as to investigate the syntactic position of the preposed patient in VR-predication sentences and the motivation behind the preposed patient in this type of sentences in Ningbo dialect..After a series of description and discussion,we draw four conclusions as followed:First,the VR phrases are not fused completely in Ningbo dialect.That's why most of patient can not appear in a senence with a patient after VR phrases.Second,the preposed patient in VR-predication sentences is a syntactic component,but this does not indicate that it is the objective in this type of sentences.We tend to regard it as syntacticalized Subtopic.There is still a few unsyntacticalized subtopics in VR-predication sentences of Ningbo dialect.In respect of that , we proved Liu Danqing's hypothesis,which regard subtopic as a syntactic component in some subdialects of Wu dialect,apply to Ningbo dialect.Third,the syntacticalization of the preposed patient in Ningbo dialect is caused by the process of VR fusion,especially during the VR phase to the VRO phase.Fourth,the subtopics in different subdialects of Wu dialect are different from each other,some are syntacticalized subtopics,some only appears in discourse but without syntactic position.It is hard to say that all subtopics in all subdialects of Wu dialect are syntacticalized subtopics.
