My View Of Children

Among the theoretic research methods of the children's literature there is a very important one, namely, Children's research should be put ahead of children's literature research. Children's cognition decides the cognition of children's literature. It may be said that children's concept is the foundation of children's literature. If you want to engage in the work of children's literature, you should first build up your own children's view.Children's literature is the outcome of western society where plenteous fruits have been born. We may introduce in the literature works as well as the literature theories, but we can hardly introduce in the children's view because the former is a pure literature problem while the latter involves social ideology. A tree with rickety groundwork is difficult to grow up into a towering one, then how I, as a children's literature worker should face this problem?In western society,"CHILD"is a social concept, which is expedited to delivery by English and French enlightenment, and the development of Chinese society has its own regularity, we could not wait for the establishment of a mature society children's view as well as the fertile fields for the development of children's literature by depending on the changing of social ideology. I think, through avoiding the implication of social ideology, we may build up our own children's view, which could be regarded as the keystone of our own children's literature, meanwhile a mature children's view may expand greatly the creative crowd and the readers crowd of children's literature, thus popularize continuously such kind of literature style.It may be said that this text has found out a break-through point, that is person, human mind, human nature and each individual of life formation. The psychologists have discovered every person's mental inside ---the inner child, and the philosopher, thinker and writer have discovered the child existence in human spiritual level while the theologists have found the child existence in human nature level.In this text, the child's life form existed in the adult's life form is defined as"symbolic child", thus establishing my children's view: Child=factual child +symbolic child...
