| Weifang Kite is one of the folk arts which have long history. This paper puts Weifang kite in the backdrop of Contemporary non-material cultural heritage protection and the development of cultural industries, systematically sorts out the Historical roots of Weifang kite art, focuses on analysis of the Weifang value of the arts. On this basis this paper investigates the contemporary living conditions of Weifang kite art, from four aspects: the Weifang Institute of Craft Arts, the Weifang International Kite Festival, the Weifang Kite Museum, Weifang kite enterprises. This paper points out the achievement and the problem in the protection and the development for Weifang kite art, gives the corresponding countermeasures, wishes benefiting for protecting and developing Weifang folk arts. |
