Liu Xie Xing "concept Of Interpretation

"Wen xin diao long"is one of the most systematical and academic work in ancient literature theory of China. The views on classic literature theory and aesthetic ideas in this book are valued highly by many literates , and they are regarded to be worth researching . Standing on the article"BiXing", the paper choose one category called BiXing as research object , and try to interpret Liu Xie's views on BiXing comprehensively .The paper includes four sections:Introduction: The present research situation of"BiXing"in the academic world. There are two aspects in this part: one is having their eyes on the whole category, the literates analyze and summarize the research achievements from various vision angles, i.e. linguistic rhetoric, aesthetics of literature and art and culture; the other aspect is to analyze and summarize the research achievements of the article"BiXing"in"Wen Xin Diao Long".Chapter One: The formation of the category"BiXing". This part explains factors which influence the generating of"BiXing", as well as the discussion about this category before Liu Xie. There are three factors which influence the generating of"BiXing", i.e. the philosophical and cultural background of that time, the social situation and the practice of creating literary works. The putting forward of this category"BiXing"by scholars before Qin dynasty and the interpretation of"BiXing"by Confucians in Han dynasty as well as the aesthetic annotation of"BiXing"by people in Wei and Jin dynasty all provide theory resources for Liu Xie's views on"BiXing".Chapter Two: Liu Xie's views on"BiXing". This part interprets Liu Xie's views in three aspects. First, he definite the meaning of this category generally in respects of rhetoric, utility and aesthetics. Second, Liu Xie's original creation of aesthetics is interpreted in three aspects:"Bi is naked and Xing is obscure","multum in parvo","to simulate the figures according to the nature". Third, we'll analyze the reasons for the formation of the category.Chapter Three: The influence of Liu Xie's views on"BiXing". The influence of Liu Xie's views on"BiXing"is deep and long lasting in various levels. There are three levels: the first is the influence on rhetoric and Zhu Xi is the representative; the second is influence on utilitarian views on"BiXing", and Bai jiyi is the representative; the third is the influence on aesthetic views on"BiXing", and Zhong Rong with Jiao Ran are representatives.
