Description Of The Internal Structure Of The Modern Chinese Characters Commonly Used Word

The article chose 2500 characters as object of study from the Frequently-used characters , and described the inner structure of using everyday words in contemporary Chinese words on the aspect of word-formation to show the appearance of the active group in contemporary Chinese words. According to the difference of its function, the component of modern Chinese characters can be divided into four categories: dependent signs, phonogram , semanteme and mark. The description comprehensively considered the fact including over polyphonic and polysemous word, rarely use graphic signs, the location and the transformation of graphic signs, which affect the function of expressing pronunciation and meaning. It also classified the contemporary Chinese characters into groups according to the principle of systematic theory, and from this analyzed the function of meaning recording and sound recording of phonogram and semanteme which don't seem to be contact with the whole word. Accordmg to the function of graphic signs , phonogram were minutely divided into sheers signs, simulated signs and hint signs, and semanteme were minutely divided into sheers signs, sub- sheers signs, simulated signs, sub- simulated signs and hint signs. The thesis summed up thirty-seven styles of composition and described the inner structure of using everyday words in contemporary Chinese words.
