Why did England become to the first country which realized modernization in the world? The discussion about that has been the target between the foreign and domestic scholars, as well as differences is still a hot thesis. The article is dealing with causes of the rural modernization in England transition period, and analyzing the performance of rural modernization and its experience. The process of modernization should be the inter-related factors that jointly promote the realization of modernization. The modernization of village was the realization of such a process in England. In the Late Middle Ages, the force of changes in agriculture and rural social change directly come from the rise of the textile industry and the villages of rural industrialization. The force of rural industrialization and the rise of the textile industry come from the British overseas trade and structural change. Conversely, the change of village is help to the rural industrialization and the British overseas trade. The modernization of British's practice proved that the rural modernization is the basis and premise of the modernization of society.
