Rural Students And Urban Students' Language Learning Ability Among The Causes And Measures

The ability-oriented education has given impetus to Chinese educational reform, while the innovative education promotes the development of educational reform beneficially. In the 21st century, Chinese education will present a comprehensive development. The education of the students from countryside has received much attention against the background of massive educational reform. The main two points of this passage are, the Chinese ability of countryside students has greatly fallen behind that of the students from the city; the measure we have adopted to improve the Chinese ability of countryside students. The major differences mainly lie in several aspects: the listening, reading, writing, orally expressing, comprehending abilities.There are several methods that we could use to improve the Chinese ability of students from the countryside to make them interested in learning Chinese. We should try our best to remedy their differences. The measures mainly include increasing their reading materials, holding various kinds of contests and lectures concerning Chinese, making the students attend the activities in the first five minutes of every class, the intensive education of basic knowledge such as words and expressions, the introduction of common Chinese knowledge, the recitation of famous passage and so on. The major points of improving the students'reading ability lie in two aspects, firstly, we should help the students establish the value direction of reading, secondly, the teacher should have correct guiding methods and attitude. We can lead the students into the appreciating area of literature through imagination and the situation of the passages. We can also assist the students in going into the high levels of the appreciating area through the innovative literature styles. We could train the students to express their true feelings and profound thoughts in order to improve their personalized writing ability.
