Chinese philosophy is so as the practice activity of mankind is the introspection for universal and social life that center spreads out. The separate speculative spirit of which Mankind own has helped for self introspection practice implement. Undoubtedly, the world in Chinese sage eye is the world that fills with value meaning, and the endowing of value need to have the aid of the human speculative spirit to accomplish. Therefore the problem of "Mind-Humanity" becomes the deep and center discussion of philosophy research. The theme that this article discusses with is the similarities and differences of "Mind-Humanity" doctrine between Mencius and Hui Neng, go on under the field of vision of metaphysics (noumenon and phenomenon). Mencius with Hui Neng divide into the academic system that belongs to difference, Mencius thought belongs to traditional the Confucianism. Hui Neng thought is the big background in the culture of entire China under, station is being Buddhist to spread out his "Mind-Humanity" doctrine thought on position. Therefore these two heterogeneous cultures will inevitably have relation. This article divides into 4 parts totally:The first part interprets Mencius Doctrine of "Mind -humanity". First, analyses the theoretical source of Mencius Doctrine of "Mind -humanity" , before Mencius.late Qin the Confucianism 's discussion that is concerned with "Mind -humanity" have Confucius,Bamboo-book in Guodian and the doctrine of mean .Through the simple viewpoint of stating 3 , can know better the academic background of Mencius Doctrine of "Mind -humanity " forms. Secondly analyses the substance of "Mind -humanity" from the angle of noumenon and phenomenon, and since the Mencius Doctrine of "Mind -humanity" is discussed, summarizes acquaintance for noumenon and phenomenon. Mencius thinks: both Mind and humanity are apriority , they should have been, posteriori,empirical things don't be nature. Reality for nature spread out is a kind of impediment! Therefore Mencius tries best to oppose the realistic behavior of people, and be fond of in the pursue for the apriority nature. From the angle of metaphysics this has also represent Mencius for "noumenon" worship. Say again cultivates skill which is adaptive with Doctrine of "Mind-humanity". The nature of gentlemen is highest morals pursue goal; the mind of ordinary person is easy to puzzle by the thing in reality. Therefore Mencius thinks through criticizing reality that person should regress the own humanity to paramount good. Let his own humanity thorough do not have remained display in the course of life. Second part says Hui Neng Doctrine of "Mind -humanity". It is the same that Mencius's state train of thought. What is the mind that Hui Neng can get from Buddha that the mind passed? Then for Hui Neng Mind and Humanity difference make appraisal. Hui Neng is different from Mencius, Mencius thinks that both Mind and Humanity are apriority , posteriori,empirical things don't be nature. Hui Neng digest realistic thing to the intension of the Mind and Humanity of person. This embodiment in his Mind and Humanity not the thought of 2 in. And then analysis make the relation of mind and humanity, from Hui Neng's construe for Mind and Humanity can reflect its knowledge for nounmenon and phenomenon and its relationship. Hui Neng think power of Buddha is not the law of 2, humanity also is not 2, have contained the composition of nounmenon and reality. Hui Neng's theoretical contribution is the intension that has enlarged nounmenon, contain realistic place the stipulation of nounmenon in.The part of 3rd explains the similarities and differences of both. First from the big background of entire science between analysis both the certainty that can be referred to ; secondly, speak Hui Neng's expression that can be for Mencius's inherited and created. Say from the inheriting aspect, both for reality have made to negate. Mencius repudiated reality and Hui Neng is able to be first also the again definite reality on the foundation with negative reality. For the distinction of both, this article discuss from 3 aspects: ontology,skill theory and Doctrine of extent reached. And have carried out the discrimination of metaphysics. The research technique of this article from the angle of metaphysics for the Doctrine of "Mind -humanity" of both.The final part of article describes Mencius with Hui Neng the theoretical meaning of Doctrine of "Mind -humanity's similarities and differences. The similarities and differences on both thought is just symptom the different historical stage that Chinese ancient metaphysics develops. Mencius with Hui Neng the similarities and differences on Doctrine of "Mind -humanity " , have only embodied the process that Chinese ancient philosophy theoretical thought develops , the existence of difference have also embodied Chinese ancients in the advance on philosophy theoretical knowledge. Study Mencius with Hui Neng the similarities and differences on Doctrine of "Mind -humanity", have important theoretical meaning.
