Huqiu Yuan Thirties Thought In Literature

The research objection of this thesis is the literary thoughts of Hu Qiu Yuan in the 30's. Based on the research of Puliehannuof, the father of Russia Marxism , Hu Qiu Yuan finished "art comments on a historical materialism" ,which produced active effect to the propagation of Marxism theory of literature and art in our country. He brought forward "free man" literature and art view on first issue "culture discuss " in December, 1931, and initiated "the free literature and art debate" with League of Leftist Writers. In this debate, tothe class character of literature and art ,the relation of literature and art and the politics , Hu Qiu Yuan brought forward a little rational view on, which has also been proven by literature and art in the afterwards practice. Because of Hu Qiu Yuan's peculiar politics dignity, the research to his literary theory at present in the homeland is very few and is mostly only confined to the introduction of his main viewpoint in "free debate of literature and art" .It is necessary therefore to carry out a brand-new carding on his literary thoughts in ordering to make us get a especially clear cognition.The first chapter of this thesis will comment the relation of the art and the social life of Hu Qiu Yuan's literary thoughts. Hu Qiu Yuan thinks that art is going to show life truly; art has the active effect to life, but this affection can not be exaggerated; art has the independent character which is just like the relation between the "revolution" and "rotation".The second part will discuss the literary theory's problem about art tendentiousness of Hu Qiu Yuan's. He thinks that the art tendentiousness has its own society basis and art need to ask about only "why", not about "ought to how" and the art nature is the thinking in images.Chapter three mainly aims at the Hu Qiu Yuan's criticize to the blindness of the new realism. He brought forward the problem of understanding Marxism accurately.The fourth part will expound "free man" definition and their literature and art view .To analyze the divergent of the literature and art thoughts between Hu Qiu Yuan and the left wing writer in free debate: one has the "enlightening" character, praise highly the literary and artistic creation liberty; the other requires clearly that literature and art is the class struggle weapon to realize the need "saving the nation from extinction".The conclusion part, mainly summarize the analytical result of the preceding context, andget the conclusion that Hu Qiu Yuan 's literary thoughts have rectify the bias appeared in the left wing's theory of literature and art.
