"Give and Take" expressions in China have proved to be a difficulty for Japanese learners in China, because there is no counterpart in Chinese. The usage of "~teageru" is more complex, Japanese learners can't be proficient in mastering the usage of "~teageru" only getting from the textbooks at present in China. Although many experts in Japan have expounded a lot on this issue, there is something of obscure in whether using the "~teageru" and when using it as not from the point of view of Japanese learners in China. We recognize the necessity for summarizing the usage rules of "~teageru" so as to solve the problems in using it for Japanese learners.This essay summarize the common rules of using "~teageru" by the sentences collected from Japan cartoons, films and TV plays. And 20 college junior students of Japanese department and 10 postgraduates in CNU were engaged in a questionnaire survey, so that we can summarize the problems and their causes.This essay can be divided into five chapters.Chapter One focuses on the significance the essay, subject investigated, research angle and so on. Summarizing the common rules of using "~teageru" from the sentences is a great creativity in this essay. The sentences are collected from Japan cartoons, films and TV plays and of great frequency in daily life.Chapter Two mainly introduces the prevailing research and its weakness.Chapter Three is of great importance in this essay, it summarizes the common rules of "~ teageru" by the sentences collected from Japan cartoons, films and TV plays and of great frequency in daily life.Chapter Four is also a focus, mainly on the questions found through the questionnaire survey and the analasy of the reasons.Chapter Five is epilogue in which part the essay is generalized and summarized.The conclusion of the essay is as following: I,The summary on the usage conditon of "~teageru" sentences. Annotation: all the behaviors of agent in the form is in good intention, besides there are still occations that the agent is out of bad intention,(一) Except the occation that the behavior of agent is in good intention, we also use sentence when the speakers are comparatively arrogant, psychologily, they view themselves stronger than the others, even sneering or looking down on others(二),The speaker asks other party do something but he is not wholehearted. in fact, they use sentence to joke the other party.II,By the questionnaire on the student, finding out the problems during the period of the"teageru"studying, analysing them and bringing forward a countermeasure.①From the result, part of students do not understand the usage completely:if the relation between agent(speaker) and recipient (listener or the third party) is in a lower position -> higher position or younger people-> elder persons, they cannot use use "teagen" sentence.therefore, while teaching the usage of 'teageru' and emphasizing the directionality (action is to the listener) ,we also need to let the students know the occasions that the 'teageru' can be used, when it cannot be used, and why not.②Most students can not well understand the intention of the speakers when they use the "teageru"For examples: Xiaowen goes to play with her student. Her student's grandfather shows her trophy and said:If the speaker does not use 'teageru', he can not show his mood of tender affection for the listener.Another examples,the speaker use the "teageru" by intent for stimulating the other party. We can not experience the mood of the speaker if no use.Form the above examples, we find out many student unable to understand the implicit intention of the speaker,so we should let students understand the minute diversity of the speaker's consciousness③The students make many mistakes on the aspect of directionality of giving and accepting verb , for the reason that there are not counterpart expressions in Chinese as Japanese gives and accepts verb. Therefore, the student should well understand the difference between Chinese and Japanese and studying them by contract.the summary on the usage occations of teageru sentence by collecting examples in TV play, Because of the limited examples, we could not be able to summarize all usages,we will keep study it with the materials of newspaper and novel etc.
