As the military governor Ge Jiayun's tribute for the royalty, the song Yizhou which originated in Qiuci musical system became the famous Daqu of the Imperial Music Office during the emperor Tangxuanzong. From Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty, Yizhou came down in royal and folk range in two different ways: one was very elegant while the other was vulgar. And the feature of the Daqu had influenced the creation of literature, including the connotation of the lyrics, and musical style.
