Glimpse Of Korean Buddhism Localization

Buddhism is one of Korean traditional religion culture which is important constituent, it had the important influence to the Korean society's many aspects, and played the huge role in it. Systematically studying the Korean Buddhism spreading, the growth, developing as it is the process of the localization, which is helpful to understand the Korean Buddhism, comprehend the Korean culture and spirit . At the same time, China and Korea are friendly states each other, Buddhism is continuously one of the important links of which culture of both countries have exchanged. Macroscopically analyzing the advancement of the Korean Buddhism localization, is helpful to grasp the Buddhism cultural exchanging of these two countries ail-roundly.The Korean Buddhism localization is the process in which the external Buddhism culture and the inherent culture of the localization gain through comprehensive study of the subject to a greater or lesser extent . This article bases on the academic circles which concern the Korean Buddhism in the research achievement, takes the advancement of the Korean Buddhism localization as the master line. It includes the period of three Countries, the Sinla dynasty, the Korean dynasty, the Li dynasty, and summarizes the localization mechanism of the different periods and the cultural exchanging situation of the Korean Buddhism and the Chinese Buddhism.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction, the main text and conclusion.The introduction section mainly discusses the research trends of the other scholars' study about Korean Buddhism at present, as well as theory originates of this paper, the basic train of thought and the main contents.The main text' s contents involve the several following aspects:The first is the rudiments of the Buddhism localization in Korea.
