On The Origin And Evolution Of The Tang Dynasty And Song

Fa qu, as a unique form of dance music, came into being during the Sui Dynasty. Having undergone influences from Central Chinese music and interaction between Chinese and foreign music, Fa qu reached its peak in the Tang Dynasty. Then, it gradually declined as an important form of court music in the Tang Palaces. Its orchestras were dismissed, and its performers went into folk music bands.Faqu has great influence on the develofement ethnic music after Tang ynasty,At the came time,it wsa a great motivation of the ethnic music cutture of the eastern coumtries neighbering China, especially YaYue in Japan and XiangYue in North Korean.However, once the music culture of a time had developed into a form, it would not disappear in a short period of time along with the political and economic decline of that time. Instead, it would continue to exist in a certain sphere and a certain time period, or, it could change, develop and join another music form.In this article, the author uses a combined historical and bibliographical method, with history as the main plan and bibliographical materials as the base, explains the development of fa qu from its origin and changes in the Tang Dynasty, and explores the causes of that development, its historical footsteps and its impact on later music.This thesis is divided into three parts. First, the origin of Faqu .I drew a conclusion through research methods of history and documentary on the topic that Faqu was a new kind of music consisted of Qingshang, the music of Buddhism, the music of Taoisim and Huyue , Qingshang was the origin. Second, the development of Faqu in the Tang dynasty. The following is arteries and veins ,Faqu came to the spotlight gradually at the early stage of Tang dynasty, prospered at the thriving and prosperous period of the Tang dynasty, went downhill after"Anshizhiluan". at the same time, I refered to the characteristics, structure, dance, the musical instruments of accompany ,status in the song and dance of Yanyue of the Tang dynasty and the relationship of Faqu and Daqu. Finally, the historical remains and the spread of Faqu. The main ideal is the spread of Faqu in Japan and Korea and the historical remains in the Song dynasty.
