On Shen Modernist Color From The Text Works

Chinese modernism literature has come into being and developed under the influence of western modernism. For all kinds of reasons, it always at the edge of the modern literature, not in the mainstream in a complex mixed state with realism and romanticism. However, its influence on the Chinese modern literature modernism literature is profound, and almost all the modern writers have been influenced by modernism which can be clearly found in the works of Shen Cong Wen.Although Shen Cong Wen is not a typical modernism writer and the works which include modernism is not dominant. But due to his inward temperament, personality, experience the meditation of the living condition and the outward influence of the philosophy, literature of the time we can see clearly the different kinds of color of modernism in different time from his works. And the modernism features in his works also experienced a development process and has a trend of from content to form, from recessive layer to superficial layer. Its modernism features were limited in his early period but become more and more obvious in his middle and later period and keep paces with development of modernism in Chinese modernism literature and western modernism literature, therefore advancing ahead of the time.Specifically the modernism factor of his work has been shown in three aspects. They are symbolism, analyzing in psychology and existentialism and the main body of the thesis will elucidate it from this three aspects.The first part shows us its symbolism feature in his poet, prose and novels.The second part shows us its psychological analysis feature especially in his prose and fiction.The third part shows us its existentialism factor centered on his prose and fiction.The last part of the thesis tell us the whole feature of the Chinese modernism literature and the works of Shen Cong Wen has an important position in it .and tell us the cause of it and it also tell us that his works has cosmopolitan specifically and nationality .and all this has important significance to the development of the Chinese literature in time of globalization.
