Rene Descartes takes one of modern philosophy founders, he has his original opinion when discussion truth. Descartes showed us two ways of reaching truth: intuition and deduction in the book "the guiding principle of getting the truth". They are two sources of truth. The main purpose of this article is try to explain why intuition and deduction are the sources of knowledge and the way of getting truth.Rene Descartes thought intuition and intuition two all are the are the sources of knowledge and the way of getting truth. His idea is quite different from the traditional rationalism in which the source of knowledge is deduction. But intuition is a more basic method and is the origin of intuition, the deduction is the intuition guarantee. Why intuition is the more basic sources of knowledge? This is precisely the key point this article proves. Rene Descartes thought that he proposed the intuition is the foundation of method, is because the traditional logic deduction in theoretically and in the practice in flaw. But Rene Descartes does not repel the logical deduction to take the understanding the origin method, on the contrary, the two methods are precisely unique methods. If stands the background of the modern west philosophy, we can see that the influence of Rene Descartes' methodology is not that he proposed the basic intuition method, but was lies in the tradition "Logos" the rationalism is narrowly changed into under the background which the logic deduced, even moved towards the extreme, Rene Descartes proposed the new idea for the philosophy.
