Since 1980, the development and division of the image and subject spirit of intellectual in the novel were very obvious, the thesis attempts to investigate intellectual's image and subject spirit for over 20 years. Method that the thesis uses the text to read in detail, observe and understand the creation of intellectual's novel (since 1980) in the literature history since " the May Fourth Movement " and analyze it in the modern ideological trend , background of globalization.
