Abstract/Summary:
The thesis consists of four parts.In the part of introduction, this thesis gives some reasons why this article has been written. The recent research progress and its shortcoming in the academic research is also discussed; Furthermore, the research methods applied in this paper are illustrated in this part. Finally, this part of introduction makes a list of the archives and documents which this thesis is based on.The first chapter analyses the preparation of the Sixth National Congress of the Kuomintang, focusing on the illustration of the two issues including the date of conference and the distribution of the qualification of representatives.The second chapter addresses some important issues in the Sixth National Congress of the Kuomintang. In this part, the thesis mainly focuses on five issues including the constitutional government question, the party affairs self-criticism and the improvement, the revision of party constitution, some important political programs and policies, the subject of Chinese Communist Party.The third chapter depicts the issue of election in the Sixth National Congress of the Kuomintang, which involves party President's election and the election of central executive and supervisory committee members.The fourth chapter expounds author's opinions. There are two points lying in the arguments of writers. One is about the role and influence of Chiang Kai-Shek in the Sixth National Congress of the Kuomintang; the other is about the question whether Sixth National Congress of the Kuomintang succeeds.
