Tibetan Thangka Art Features Analysis

Thangka is a unique art in the culture of Tibetan. It has China character and style and plays an important in the life of Tibetan.There are 7 chapters in the article.In the first two chapters, the author descripts the main schools and styles of Thangka from culture inheriting and religion .In the third chapter, the technological process and tools and materials especially its paint which is different from others are written. In the last several chapters which is the key of the article,the author analyses the art features of the paintings. They are colour,expressional method, composition of a picture,style of the figures and its enjoyment in the excellent works.In the article, the author hope that we can enjoy the verve of Tangka which have levity forms in the picture composition, elegancy of the colour and sculpt,and appreciate the artists of Tibet in the past who have perfect technique and work loving spirits.
