The watercolor painting is the western picture sort, it and the oil painting is receiving the western philosophy idea and the drawing idea equally, has its integrity in the west the development system and the deep art accumulates. It has the unique individuality characteristic, the individuality charm that is different from other picture sorts. The transparency, the fluidity, the watercolor blend all fascinates the human. The watercolor painting more and more is also plentiful in the drawing technique and the skill;the different performance methods can express the different artistic situation. As a picture sort, these already enough caused it to support oneself the gateway. But to rise to a kind of art, the unique personality language alone is not enough. It must congeal this national culture abstract, carry on the creative expression through this individual creator, and can be accepted, understood and appreciated by the people which this kind of culture gradually influences, it only then has the value like this, has the vitality. After the watercolor painting spreads to China, in a century developing process, we see it send out the moving brilliance in the hands of artists from generation to generation, it is precisely because the seniors positively explore to art with the unremitting pursuit, enabling the Chinese watercolor painting to have been different from the western appearance. There are many factors leading to such different appearance, but mainly because of their own philosophy about the art of a different mentality. This article carries on the analysis from the traditional Chinese aesthetic orientation point, to find out China's national makings in which the Chinese watercolor has and should have for supporting the watercolor national development perspective. At the same time, we must recognize that only Chinese watercolor painting has features different from the West, the two sides stimulates mutually and supplemented mutually, to enable the Chinese watercolor painting developwith the possibility of further flourish.
