Second language acquisition is an inter-disciplinary researching field. It develops quickly and it has got various theoretical models, hypotheses and researching results. The goals of doing researching in this field lies in finding the relationship between the theory of learing and the practice of teaching, that is, the enlightenment and usefulness of the former to the latter. In the process of foreign language teaching, directing and developing this process by means of second language acquisition theory will have an extreme significance in improving both the teaching method and the quality of teaching.Stephen D Krashen's study in the field of second language acquisition has got the universal concern of the linguists. The field of learing home and abroad has different ideas to his theory,"but it is maybe the most all-sided and acceptable theory nowadays."(Rod Ellis:1986,p261,ELT,1981). It has the directory significance in improving the quality of teaching and in driving the foreign language teachers and researchers to investigate the foreign language teaching deeply in China. This paper is going to do some systematical discussion and analysis in the main theory which is closest to the language teaching in the field of second language acquisition. And it will also look at the things in the visual angle of Krashen's second language acquisition theory, thus to investigate it's actual meaning in Russian language teaching.This paper has four parts:Part one: Introduction. Making clear of the concept of the fist language, the second language, mother tongue and foreign languages and the relationship between them; the current situation about the second language acquisition research; the visual angle of the research of this paper.Part two: The main theory and it's significance to modern foreign language teaching and second language acquisition. Interlanguage Theory; Discourse Analysis;the Acculturation Model;Linguistic Universals Theory; The Monitor Model Theory.Part three: The enlightenment of Krashen's theory of second language acquisition to Russian language teaching. The Acquisition-Learning Hypothesis; The Natural Order Hypothesis and Russian language teaching; The Monitor Hypothesis and Russian language teaching; The Input Hypothesis and Russian language teaching; The Affective Filter Hypothesis and Russian language teaching.Part four: Conclusion. Elaborating the relationship between these five Hypotheses; the appraisal to Krashen's theory of second language acquisition.
