Kibbutz, the translation of the Hebrew Kibbutz, which intention is "get-together" or"collective", is a kind of social economic organization establishing on the basis of the equality, public and the volunteering principles. Kibbutz is the results of the historical background of the Zionism movement, the socialism ideological trend and the painful experiences of Jew, with affecting of the various economic conditions and bad natural environment. Since long ago, the Kibbutz has small population, while it took great influence on the politics and the economy of Israel, which actually built special contribution for the country's establishment and development. The Kibbutz has acted "the national revival pillar", together with the general labor union and the national defense troop, is regarded as the fundamental basic of Israel. Since the transforming of the Israeli economy from "citrus fruits economy" to "software economy", meanwhile Kibbutz has encountered difficulties and the challenges and it is under progress of omni-directional reform. However its principles of "equal, public, voluntary and the democracy" have not been changed, Kibbutz is still retaining traditional free medical services, free education, collective rescue and public culture. According to the mainstream of the present Israeli society, the Kibbutz can't be denied. It's quite important to make the Kibbutz being adapted in the current society, overcome the obstacles and lead to another brilliant future through reasonable reforming and adjustment.To some extent, the Kibbutz has solved the problem of the ordinary members'low productivity. The people's commune of China is established under the national compelling force, internal responsible person of which the governmental official. That makes the farmer cannot withdraw and it lacks the system foundation which supports the farmers'enthusiasm as long as the ideal passion decreases. The Kibbutz can't be flawless for sure and can be duplicated all through the world. However, it isn't transplanted and popularized to other countries and districts since the combination of culture, politic, social environment and specific historical conditions.The Kibbutz provides a great example of realizing modernization, especially the agriculture modernization in poor resources district to the world.As the current society is facing with challenge of population, resources, environment and development interweaving together, it's meaningful to learn from the sustainable experiences within historical environment for coping with specific situation in developing countries. For construction socialism new countryside of the 11th five-year plan, it also plays an important role in it.
