" Annals of Zuo " have been called "articles of ancestral history," since its formation,the historians,scientists and writers have done their studies from the macro and micro aspects . Persons who criticized it thought that the predicts of the history books partially destroyed the authenticity from the perspective of history, commending persons clarified the literary and started on its value from the social role. This thesis attempts to specify its achievements and characterization,then analys its position by use of cultural methods in the context of social development,through comparative approach in the coordinates of the history and culture,The first part summs up the cultural identity that embodies in the predicts of " Annals of Zuo ", bases on the statement of classification and statistical methods, through quantitative analysis of different predictions, analyzes the causes of the formation of cultural identity that embodied in the predicts of " Annals of Zuo ", from the economic base, and ways of thinking and the author.The second part utilizes comparison method, compares the predicts of'Annals of Zuo" with the preious predicts and the Han Dynasty prophecy, analyzes the status that the predicts of "Annals of Zuo" are in the process of the prediction history, unfolds the national characteristic of it.The third part uses the cultural comparison methods through comparising the predicts of " Annals of Zuo " with those of Greece epic, unfolds the ethnic characteristics of the predicts of Annals of Zuo ".The fourth part analyzes the literature achievement of the predicts of'Annals of Zuo", then analyzes its influence to the descendant biography literature and the novel.
