Art Of The Modern Cello

In this paper, the writer tries to introduce the research and discovery of some modern artists from the development of cello performance techniques with several representative examples in Krzyztof Penderecki Capriccio per Siegfried Palm . The writer want to analyze some techniques and their performance effect which are very avant-garde for Chinese cellists .The writer hopes this paper could be helpful for the cellists to understand the modern compositions by analyzing of performance techniques and effect.
