Local contribution, as an economic phenomenon in the society in Chinese ancient times, is a local government dedicate the local special product to central government. The contribution, as the representative in the local product, the quantity also is best. It represents the development level, feature of local region in agriculture, handicraft industry . From this we can see the economic development of a region. The local contribution is the original data which study ancient and local products .It is benefit to serve the local special economy from the research of local contribution.The thesis adopts traditional history research method primarily, studies the local contribution of Guannei Tao and Jiangnan Tao of Tang Dynasty by the contrast, and discusses the development of economy in the late Tang Dynasty at the same time. The thesis is divided into three chapters to discuss local contribution of Guannei Tao and Jiangnan Tao in the Tang Dynasty. Chapter 1 first describes origin of local contribution, and then relates the local contribution from the characteristics, category, time, management, from this we can see the local contribution have become the relative complete system in Tang Dynasty , beside this, the thesis analysises the differences and similars among the contribution , tax . Chapter 2 relates the local contribution of Guannei Tao and Jiangnan Tao from analyzing form in Tang Dynasty . Chapter 3 compares the localcontribution of Guangnei Tao and Jiangnan Tao from the same or the different contribution, so show their economic special features and development level, looks at economical development in late Tang Dynasty, in the end we can see in middle-late Tang Dynasty, especially in late Tang Dynasty, not only from quantity but also kinds, Jiangnan Tao is much more than Guannei Tao .This phenomenon is determined by the development of economy south in late Tang Dynasty.
