This article states in detail a new system of course teaching of "Chinese Modern Literature" in five-year Primary Education of college level. It starts from the teaching reality of the course, and puts teaching experiences in combination with the teaching theories. It includes mainly: the optimization of teaching aims, the optimization of teaching processes, the optimization of the instructions to after-class activities, and the optimization of score tests and evaluation of the course and so on. This article also explains and analyzes the practical value of the new system, its general instructive importance and its new requirements and new challenges to both the teachers and the students in carrying out the new system. In a word, It aims at finding out a new idea and method which are suitable to the course "Chinese Modern Literature " for five-year Primary Education of college level.
