Since the new period, a lot of contemporary novels have narrated from a direct or indirect angle the stories about "against the Rightist". This sort of novels has already been known as one of the important narration types among contemporary novel. I make a sample analysis of them, with an emphasis on how and why these stories are narrated and some common narrating rules among these different stories. The authors of these novels, who made their lives in the periods of contemporary political disaster and critical historical turning as the theme, are mostly "the Rightist" in the past. Since the mid- 1980's this theme nearly disappeared from novels while reappeared these years. But the authors of recent anti-rightist works are not rightist. They have never experienced that time and even there is a great gap between the time they live and that rightists had lived, between the authors and narrators of the novels. Examining the images of rightists in the works of different periods, we can find "the Rightist" here are actually a political term, a reflection to his or her sufferings those in different periods. In the different historical surroundings, the Rightist's images are distinctive greatly in different periods. This thesis explores those images from whether authors or narrators have experienced that time personally, whether they come out with or made up their stories, and the presentation of human nature and meaning of living in different periods. In the kind of works where authors and narrators both have experienced that time personally, the authors are often the narrators. In the narrators' passive acceptance and passionate venting of their fates, the authors incorporate into works their own ? experiences, reflections and criticism on the history in various degrees, and recognition of the mainstream presentation of state and national destiny, which have weaken the strength of the works. However, in the works the authors have no same or similar experiences as narrators', the authors transform macroscopic historical surroundings into individual livings instead of focus on the representation of historicalfacts and pure reflection. They explore the in-depth human nature and make an objective and observation to history and the people at that time. The narrators separate from authors. Readers are no longer confined to author's idea and emotion and they are capable of performing a free conversation with the textThis article studies further uniqueness and certainty of narrating purposes by intellectuals in different periods and ideologies and the effect the purposes have on stories. Due to the strong recognition of "revolution" by writers in the 1980s, the main object of narrating is to display individual revolution. As a result as a research object of works, they show the nature of ending and closing. Rightists are deprived of their participation into the history and of unreal idealism. Recently those who are pursuing these novels are no rightists. They cannot bridge the gap with the history at that time and just aim to get a new understanding of the history and restore the real facts, which decide their works, is just a copy of history.Novels on Rightist, whenever it is, stand on the angle of human nature. But this sort of works dealing with the author's own experiences is confined to individual life and political field and fails to discuss in-depth human nature and historical field and to analyze and examine profound human nature, culture and history. However, recent works display the connection between human being and history and from such more profound angles as human-oriented, being, and culture philosophies, present the author's thought and exploration on existence and human nature, which transfer the author's reflection from history and politics to human nature in particular historical surrounding.
