| This paper is divided into five segments. The first part is made up of three small portions; each of them introduces respectively the research background about the problem of the information which is put into parentheses in one lexicon paraphrase, the causes why the information is put into the parentheses, and the extension of the information that is in the parentheses. The second part bases on two points of view which are semantics and pragmatics according to different means of lexis, and classifies the information which is put into parentheses by the place where the information locates in the paraphrase and the content which the information expresses. Through this kind of sort, we can see one phenomenon that different places and different types are unbalance in the different parts of speech. And then in the third part, the paper explains the reasons which can result in the unbalance phenomenon. In the forth segment, the paper generalizes some approximately reasons from the facts why the dictionary puts some information into the parentheses, and points out in the Dictionary of Modern Chinese Language, when it should put parentheses on some information and when should not. This part commences mainly on paraphrase means to analyze the orderliness. The last segment of this paper is summing-up part, this part summarizes the whole paper and points out some problems in the Dictionary of Modern Chinese Language which are needed further being deliberated. |
