Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) of China used to be the biggest feminist organization which the most women joined in the civilian nation, which influences the feminists and the young people awfully. It still exists and goes along now.Academic field has scarcely researched it .The article starts with secretaries to research YWCA of China, discussing its influence in modern china and trying to know women's life status in part of China. Because YWCA campaign is long and extensive, at the same time my time is limited I decide to focus on the 1920s and 1930s to discuss it.The article falls into four chapters.The first chapter, brief introduction of history and organization of YWCABecause YWCA of China is lack of disseminations and researches, it isn't known by many people. The chapter introduces the basic instance of YWCA, including its history, organization, the relationship with YMCA, with YWCA of the world and so on to make the readers know what's the party ,what it has done and what particularity it has.The second chapter compare research of Chinese secretaries and foreign secretariesBecause YWCA of China is the international institution found by northern American association chiefly, foreign secretaries were dispatched form America, YWCA of China has Chinese secretaries and foreign secretaries existing together at a long time. What difference it has between Chinese secretaries and foreign secretaries? The chapter will expatiate on this question from educational background, vocational training, qualification, stipend treatment, the reason of demission and so on. I will try to revaluate how the secretaries organized and how they worked.The third chapter: secretaries trainingSecretaries are the primary workers of YWCA whose diathesis directly influence the work of the YWCA. so secretaries training became very important. The chapter will discuss the secretaries training policy, training mode, training fund. In a word, the training of YWCA is very fruitful and beneficial to long existence and development of YWCA of China.The fourth chapter: the influence of Chinese secretaries and foreign secretaries of YWCA to its history status.YWCA of China has firstly found and led by the western countries. With the development of Chinese social position, Chinese secretaries gradually controlled the leadership of the YWCA. The chapter will discuss the process of the power shift and simply state the impression of secretaries.The last part is the conclusion which briefly generalizes the history status of YWCA and secretaries, while puts forward some questions that needs go deep into.
