Cai Yuanpei Chinese Cultural Construction Concept Study

Cai Yuan-pei is a famous expert in education and also a thinker in Chinese modern history ,who was thought as the great builder in Chinese New Culture. He was conversant in Chinese and Occidental culture,and formed his theory of Chinese culture construction on that special condition. He emphasized that we should study the culture from culture side. First,Cai Yuan-pei advocated the interfusion of Chinese and Western culture. We should learn the edge of western culture to make up for our disadvantage,and at the same tune, we should output our essence and show our national culture. Second, Cai Yuan-pei proposed that we should digest the civilization ,and emphasized that we should absorb the civilization which we can digest. To learn western culture ,we should pay more attention to retain the speciality of our own national culture. Then, Cai initiated the academic guideline of Thought Freedorn,and thought that we can absorb the compatible with our national culture, and that promoted the boom of new thought and new culture.
