Yuan dynasty is a period that natural calamity stroked seriously. By counting and analyzing such three kinds of natural calamities as plague of locusts, flood and earthquake, the article is to study the policy to report and examine the disaster and the measures government took.The article has three partsThe first part is to count and analyze three natural calamities. The article adds up the areas of three calamities in time and space and wants to find law of disaster with modern climate and geography and biology.The second part is to study the policy to report and examine the disaster and the measures of Yuan government. The policy to report and examine the disaster was a very important policy in Yuan dynasty that government decreased taxes according to the records of disaster. There were five processes, i.e. report, inystigptioii, censor, examination and punishment. The policy of reporting the disaster relaxed the destruction of Yuan dynasty in some degree.The third part is to state the influence of calamities. Plague of locusts and flood and earthquake influenced people's life and agriculture so much. Although Yuan government took many measures, it resulted in the destruction of Yuan dynasty at last.
