In western society which followed the development model of rationalism, and in course of the development of market economy which theoretically based on social contract theory, trust squeezed in and became one of the main social moral elements through its unique moral enchantment. Honesty and credit has become a basic principle of modern economic and legal system, which is not only called "protector" of market economy, but called "Golden rule" of civil law.The aim of the present reform of economic system in China is to create modern business system. How to improve the national and international market competitive ability is a hard project for modern China enterprises to solve urgently. The nature of market economy calls for honesty and credit, which has been gained the modern enterprises' double attention as an important component of the enterprises' market competitive ability.The trust crisis in present economic field in China is rather serious, such as the flooding of fake and inferior commodities, the complication of the debt triangle, the repeated appearing of commercial cheat and swindle, the credit scarcity of export enterprises. The cause, including the historical tradition of emphasizing agriculture and controlling business, the nature of pursuing benefits inherently owned by market economy itself, the emergence of deviation in the real practice of market economy, the slip of moral propaganda, and the inappropriateness of the related political and legal measures should all be responsible for it. But it is basically owing to the special socioeconomic culture during the economic transition. To reconstruct our economic order, to rebuilt the trust ethic of enterprises, to change the lack and deterioration of trust during the transition of economic system, the most fundamental step is to strengthen moral education of trust, to purify the trust environment of market, to develop the trust self-discipline of businessman; the most realistic means is to perfect the market competition system, to create positive competition atmosphere, to carry out the policy of "the survival of the fittest" which based on trust standard; the most urgent task is to establish perfect social credit system to restrain economic behaviors with systematic morality.
