Oracle Collection Supplement ¡¤ Explanation Of "revision

This dissertation is a collation for volume III and IV of Annotations of A complement to the great collection of the oracle inscriptions. Preface Tells the writing motives of the dissertation, the same between volume III and TV in error categories, and the differences in the oracle inscriptions content. Introduction, chapter I , gives the necessary explanations for the many scholar's achievements on Annotations collation, such as connection, repeated published pieces, collection of the oracle inscriptions, Fenqi(分期)and fake pieces etc. Also gives the problems existing in Annotations and our collating rules. Main body, chapter II, after reading Annotations one by one, helped by the traditional collections of the oracle inscriptions, connecting with a great number of examples of the oracle inscriptions, absorbing the latest achievements from the academic circle, we have collected all the errors which has been found in Annotations. Chapter III is the last of the dissertation,telling several related problems.
