Now globalization is a great topical issue. In recent years, this issue has been studied by many people from different angles. The author believes, with different learner's deeper studies of globalization, we should study globalization from a higher level ---philosophy angle. According to Marx's productive forces theory, globalization is a natural historical course that develops continuously under the interactions of all kinds of forces and has its main body. The core of globalization is economic globalization. But globalization has been beyond economic field and become an activity of the whole direction including the fields such as politics, culture and so on. When globalization is believed as an irresistible and objective historical development trend, the countermeasures and the patterns of actions we take will have solid foundation, we will make globalization beneficial to us.This thesis is divided into four chapters:Chapter one is about the summary of globalization. In this chapter, the relationships between globalization and politics, economy as well as culture are approached. Globalization first appears in the economic field and is the inside demand of economic development. Globalization connotes economic globalization, but globalization isn't only the activity in the economic field, It has been beyond economic field for a long time and become an activity of the whole direction including the fields such as politics, culture and so on.Chapter two discusses the development impetus of globalization. The development impetuses of globalization include many ones. The contradiction movement between productivity forces and the relations of production is the key impetus of globalization development. This decidesthat the course of globalization is an objective historical one that doesn't change depending on human's mind, and it is also a course with main bodyChapter three expounds the essence of globalization phenomenon. Marx predicted scientifically that globalization is an inevitable history trend with value clash. We must know clearly that the three courses of globalization, modernization and westernization are complex. Because of the disequilibrium law of social development, some backward countries and areas can become modernistic ones by reform and opening, seizing opportunities as well as developing themselves.Chapter four is about opportunities and challenges Globalization brings and countermeasures. Globalization brings developing countries opportunities and severe challenges. It is a realistic and important issue China faces that China need know globalization correctly and formulate reasonable tactics coping with globalization as a largest developing country.Study methods of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, analysis. Marx's standpoints and research methods run through it.Secondly, historical analysis. Present globalization has inevitably the course of producing, developing and strengthening.Thirdly, dialectical analysis. Globalization brings developing countries not only opportunities but also challenges.
