Affected by this current of thought, LuRenLong's XingShiYan was the outstanding representative in the field of Nihuaben, fiction written in imitation of scripts for storytelling in the Song and Yuan dynasties. Lu on one hand faced the bitter reality and streaming blood, and expressed on the other hand, he tried hard to find the way out for crisis. His efforts showed us the conscience of an intellectual and represented the deep concern for society in Nihuaben, and represented the erection of tragic spirit of Nihuaben. |
