Objective : To explore the environmental etiology of ADHD .To find out the relations among lead, magnesium, IQ, family factor and ADHD , so that provide exoteric basis for farther individual prevention and cure step.Method 60 ADHD cases was diagnosed by employing ADHD diagnostic standard with DSM-IV .The control group was confirmed according to age and sex 1 vs 1 matched case control study design, then all children were examined IQ with WISC-R, surveyed family condition with questionnaire, assayed lead and magnesium in distal blood and hair with Atom-absorbed spectrophotometer (graphite stove and blaze method) , 30 ADHD and matched 30 control children were evoked ERP with aural oddball paradigm, Analyzed data with SAS6.12 statistics software.Results In ADHD group, the content of blood lead was higher (p<0.001), the content of blood magnesium was lower (p<0.001), the content of fair magnesium was lower (p<0.05); IQ (including FIQ, VIQ, PIQ) was lower (p<0.01); right frequency in counting target stimulant of ERP was lower (p<0.01), P2, N2 latency was longer, (p< 0.05), P3 latency was longer (p< 0.01), N1P2 wave altitude was lower (p<0.02), repeatable frequency of p3 wave was lower (p<0.05). Family surveying questionnaire showed that family anamnesis, relation of parents, relation of parent-child, cultivating attitude of parents, uprearing mode of parents, characteristics of parents, mother's educated degree are existed significant differences between two groups. Correlation coefficient showed blood lead and IQ, VIQ was negative correlation (p<0.05), blood lead and behavior problem scale score was positive correlation (p< 0.001), blood lead and p3 latency was positive correlation (p<0.02); IQ and behavior problem scalescore was negative correlation (p<0.001), IQ and P3 latency was negative correlation (p<0.05), IQ and N1P2 wave altitude was positive correlation (p<0.05); behavior problem scale score and P3 latency was positive correlation (p<0.02); P3 latency and FIQ was negative correlation(p< 0.05), P3 latency and PIQ was negative correlation(p<0.01); N1P2 wave altitude and FIQ, VIQ was positive correlation(p<0.05). Magnesium in blood and magnesium in fair was positive correlation (p<0.02), Magnesium in blood and behavior scale score was negative correlation (p<0.01). Logistic stepwise regression analysis indicated that paternity and blood lead contents were the significant risk factors, IQ and fair magnesium were the significant profit factors in ADHD.Conclusion The lead content increasing and magnesium insufficiency in body , paternity badness and IQ lowlihead help to the genesis of ADHD. We would bring forward the feasible prevention and cure measures from this study results, it is important to attend surroundings'lead, diet factor's magnesium and paternity building in order to make the first-step prevention. When treating ADHD in advance, it is necessary to consider the child's individual peculiarity, think much of environmental factors. According to individual characters, we should make an individual intervention plan to ameliorate the prognosis and improve the cure frequency of ADHD.
