Zhou zuoren had a pinghechongdan aesthetic idea. It had been affected by Japanese classic literature. Zhou zuoren, in his youth, went to study in Japan, his essay and literary theory had been impacted by Japanese classic literature. Zhou translated and introduced lots of Japanese classic opus, he have impelled the communication of Japanese classic literature in china. He thought that beautiful is harmony. His absorption of Japanese classic literature was based on western literary aesthetics, at last, had formed an aesthetic idea of expressing self, advocating nature, and aesthetic judgement as an existence attitude.
