By means of Theory of Modern Hermeneutics .Statistics and Sociology as well ,this thesis takes its subject of studying of the Monthly of The People's Literature issued from the year of 1949 to 1957.In the first section , this paper makes a general introduction of the Monthly of The People's Literature , in which it emphatically describes the status , functions , authoritativeness, policy of editing and characters of this literature magazine.What's under discussion in the second section of the paper is the producing situation of all types of literature works published in the periodical during the years of 1949 to 1957.In the discussion , the author puts emphasis on the type of short stories of this period , of which the features of patterns and the characters of styles are spotlighted.The most important part of the thesis is the third section, in which , taking the aspects into account of the social circumstances ,the peculiarities of the writers , readers , editors , critics and intellectuals of this period , the author elaborates on what results in the producing situation of literature works of this division of time.In the concluding section , based on all the analyses above , the thesis attemptingly offers its general appraisal on the literature works during the period .
