Moreover, the author holds that a change in the climate was the reason that the Xia capitals moved upper valley of the Ying river to Erlitou area in the Yi Luo plain. The thesis largely combed historical documents and related archeological date about the inhabited by kings of Xia, and textually researched capitals of the Xia Dynasty, namely Yangdi (today's Yuzhou in Henan), Zhenxun(today's Yanshi in Henan), Shangqiu(today's Puyang in Henan), Yuan(today's Jiyuan in Henan),Laoqiu(within today's Kaifeng in Henan), Xihe (the place from today's west Mianchi to today'seast Sanmenxia in Henan) and so on. Emphatically proving, the Xia Dynasty took Zhenxun as the chief captical from King Taikang to King lie and set up shangqiu, Yuan, Laoqiu, Xihe etc as auxiliary capitals. In addition the author of this article put forward views that the buidings of ancestral shrine and palace were pretty close and architectural ideology was multiple structure as a whole by planning layout, which was obtained by analyzing foundation of palace.
